As AmCham looks to expand its advocacy efforts on behalf of its members, it has recently become a member of the East African Business Council (EABC), which aims to speak for the private sector across the East African Community. We will make an effort to pass along news of EABC events and policy work to AmCham members.
AmCham-TZ is also a member of the CEO Roundtable and recently participated in the private sector syndication at the Business Environment Lab organized by the President’s Delivery Bureau at Kunduchi Beach Resort. Currently, AmCham-TZ is discussing opportunities for collaboration on policy and advocacy. AmCham-TZ is also exploring collaboration with other business groups. Through these partnerships, AmCham leadership will communicate key concerns about the business environment in Tanzania on behalf of the AmCham membership to policy makers and key stakeholders.
