What a day for a race! A ton of fun to raise money to protect elephants. Sunday November 23, 2014. First Annual Turkey Trot race / walk around Masaki from the Best Western Coral Beach. Awesome team of volunteers help 200 runners of all ages (and some with 4 legs!) starting at 5:30AM.
Friends came out to run, bike, and walk in this great race sponsored by Grand Race Sponsor CFAO Motors and sponsor Mkono & Company; runners got ready with a warmup by AfriRoots; the race is on with the lead runner following the Jeep pace car; and finishers celebrated with the Tanzanian Body Builders in the dunk tank. First place went to a runner in flip-flops.
