BURAK BÜYÜKSARAÇ
I was born in Ankara, Turkey on February 04th, 1983. Following
primaryschool, I pursued my education in French, starting
from middle school in Ankara. This path led me to pursue my
undergraduate studies in “Plastic-Arts” at the University of
Paul-Valéry Montpellier in France in 2002. After returning to
Turkey in 2006, I gained seven years of professional experience
In Various middle and high-management positions within a
medium-large corporation based in Antalya. Throughout my
tenure, I worked in multiple locations both in Turkey (Antalya,
Istanbul, Sivas, Denizli), as well as internationally in the Middle
East (Iraq, U.A.E.), Northern Africa (Libya), and Europe (France,
Germany, Spain). These roles spanned a wide range of industries,
including medical mobility products, luxury gift products manufacturing, interior decoration,
architectural products manufacturing, large-scale interior design and renovation projects, 5-star hotel
constructions and renovations, synthetic sports fields production and installation, airport ground
support equipment manufacturing, and primarily, the mining sector encompassing prospecting,
mining, processing, and exporting metallic minerals such as Cr and Mn.
In 2010, I made a significant move to Tanzania, assuming the role of Managing Director for one of the
largest Turkish investment groups in the country at the time. I served in this position from late 2010
until 2015. During this period, I oversaw several companies primarily involved in mining activities such
as copper, lead, and gold, as well as trading metallic minerals (lead) and precious gemstones
(diamonds). Additionally, I managed companies in the food packaging and cosmetics manufacturing
industries, both in Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Having gained extensive experience across a wide range of global business sectors, particularly in
Africa, I made a decision in late 2015 to focus on the rapidly growing and highly competitive service
industries in Tanzania. Specifically, I identified opportunities within the tourism, consultancy,
restaurant, medical, education, and security sectors. As a result, I founded SkyPalm Travel & Tours Ltd.
in 2015 and established SkyWorks Trading & Consultancy Ltd. and co-founded Pasha Food & Beverage
Ltd. in 2016. In 2018, I founded MLPCARE Tanzania and introduced the Sultan Academics brand. In
2019, I launched the Maasai Watchers brand, followed by the establishment of Uplifting Security
Limited in 2020. In the same year, I also introduced the Fandom Cars brand and acquired the Sparkling
Boat brand and its operations. Additionally, I co-founded Roundtable Design & Works Ltd. in 2020,
established the Tanzania Türkiye Business Forum (TTBF), and co-founded the Agama Furniture brands
in 2022. Most recently, in 2023, I founded SkyWorks Insurance and Lady Askari brands, aiming to
contribute to the growth and recognition of the service industries in Tanzania.
